How to apply
1. Apply for a place on an eligible PhD programme at a CHASE member institution. Please click on the logos immediately below for information on how to apply at each institution. Institutions will have a deadline for applications.
2. If your institution approves you to apply for studentship funding, they will provide an access code for the studentship application. Once you have been given the access code, you can create an account on the system using the button on the right of this page.
You can find guidance for applicants on the CHASE website. Please note that the deadline for funding applications varies by institution.
The deadline for you to submit your competed funding application is 12 noon on Friday 28 January 2022.
CHASE will let you know the outcome of your application in April 2021.
CHASE AHRC studentships are open to UK and International students. Residency requirements are set out in the UK Research and Innovation Training Grant Guidance (Annex B).
Funding is offered for both full-time and part-time study. In line with UKRI expectations for equality and diversity, CHASE promotes equality of opportunity for all eligible doctoral candidates.
CHASE will use the data provided in your application for the purpose of the studentship competition only. We will use anonymised data for reporting on the competition process.
