How to apply

 


1. Apply for a place to study at a CHASE member institution. Please click on the logos immediately below for information on how to apply at each institution:
 

    The Courtauld Institute of Art    

University of Kent  University of Essex

            University of East Anglia      

    Goldsmiths, University of London                University of Sussex


2. If they approve you to apply for studentship funding, your institution will provide an access code for the studentship application. Once you have been given the access code, you can create an account on the system using the button on the right of this page.

You can find guidance for applicants on the CHASE website.

CHASE will tell you the outcome of your application in April 2020.

Eligibility


CHASE AHRC studentships are open to UK and EU students who meet the residency requirements set out in the UK Research and Innovation Terms and Conditions for Training Grants

Some studentships are available for both full-time and part-time study, but some are full-time only; please check the advertised project details. In line with RCUK expectations for equality and diversity, CHASE promotes equality of opportunity for all eligible doctoral candidates.

Data sharing


CHASE will use the data provided in your application for the purpose of the studentship competition only. We will use anonymised data for reporting on the competition process. By completing the studentship application, you give permission for your data to be used in these ways. Please see the policy on Data sharing between Consortium institutions.
